One Piece 4th Anniversary Set: private list now open

One Piece Card Game turns four, and Bandai is marking it the way it marked years two and three: with a Premium Bandai anniversary set. We are going to run a private list for it, and this post explains how it works, who we want on it and why we are starting now rather than the month before release.

What it is

The Japanese 4th Anniversary Set is a sealed goods set sold through Premium Bandai, not a booster product. It is not a case and there is nothing in it to open for packs. Retailer listings describe it as a collector's bundle: nine promotional cards with English text, 70 sleeves, a card case and a storage box, with some listings also mentioning a playmat. The artwork is by the design unit GOO CHOKI PAR. Bandai can still change the final contents, so treat that list as provisional until the product page is final.

It sits alongside the two anniversary boosters of the year: OP-17 The World's Strongest Warriors (22 August 2026) and OP-18 (21 November 2026 in Japan).

Release date

Our working date is 2 July 2027. Treat it as provisional: different channels currently show different timings, anywhere from early 2027 to July, and Premium Bandai products tend to move. We will publish the confirmed date here the moment we have it from the distributor.

Why we expect it to be hard to get

The two previous anniversary sets are the best guide we have:

• 2nd Anniversary Set (2024): nine cards, storage box, playmat, card case, playmat case, four dice and 70 sleeves. Bandai's US price was $180.
• 3rd Anniversary Set (2025/26): ten promo cards, ten special DON!! cards, 70 sleeves, a leather card case, a leather storage box and six power counters. Bandai's US price was $200. It sold out at retail and now trades on resale listings well above that.

The pattern is clear: a fixed production run, a short pre-order window, and a secondary market that reprices the moment it closes. The 4th set follows the same model, and Bandai's own pre-order windows for it have already come and gone in some regions.

How the private list works

We are not opening a public pre-order and there is no button on the site. Registration is by email only:

1. Write to info@spaceshiptcg.com with the subject One Piece 4th Anniversary Set.
2. Tell us your name, the email and phone number to reach you on, and how many units you would want (we expect to cap this per person).
3. If you play in our tournaments, say so and give your player name, so we can match it to the ranking.

The list is private. It is not published, and we do not share it. Nothing is charged when you register and registering is not a purchase; it is a place in the queue when the product exists and we know what we have.

Who we want on it

This is a premium product and we would like as many of the people who actually play and collect with us to get one. Between now and release, priority on the list will follow participation in our tournaments and your position in our store ranking. Registering early gets you on the list; playing is what moves you up it. Players who turn up, week after week, are the ones we want holding this set.

What we cannot promise yet

• Quantity. We do not know how many units the distributor will allocate to us. Allocation on this kind of product is limited and usually reduced from what is requested. The list may be longer than what arrives.
• Price. It is not set. We will publish it with the confirmed date.
• Date and contents. As above: provisional until Bandai and the distributor confirm.

If the list is larger than our allocation, we will say so openly and apply the criteria above, rather than first come, first served. Everything we sell arrives sealed and leaves sealed; this set is no exception.
