Alongside Welcome to Night City boosters, Cyberpunk TCG — WeirdCo's dice-and-card game built with CD Projekt Red around the Cyberpunk 2077 setting — ships preconstructed starter decks, and our catalogue covers two distinct lines: The Heist, branded directly to the Welcome to Night City set, and Embracing Power, sold in both a beta edition and a full release, built around Arasaka corporate strategy rather than street-level crew play.

Why the split matters

Arasaka is the megacorporation at the centre of Cyberpunk 2077's plot — the faction whose politics drive most of the game's story — so an Embracing Power deck reads as a genuinely different playstyle from a Night City street-crew deck like The Heist, not just a reskin with different card art. For new players, that split is useful: it lets you pick a starting identity — corpo or street — before you've bought a single booster.

Starter decks and sealed condition

A starter deck is the lowest-friction way into any trading card game: fixed contents, playable immediately, no randomised packs to open. That also means the value proposition is entirely about trust in the contents — there's no pull-rate excitement to speak of, so the only thing a buyer is actually paying for is the assurance that the deck is exactly what the publisher assembled. A new starter deck that's been opened to check or reorder its contents is worth measurably less than one that hasn't, and there's no way to tell the two apart once it's happened.
